Sophie Carter
As 1 of our 5 Scholarship Winners, we want to share a little bit about Sophie and her accomplishments at Pearl River High School.
Sophie has maintained honor roll for all 4 years of high school, she has received multiple directors awards for choir as well as band. Sophie was also awarded The Honesty and Integrity Award.
Sophie’s Career Goals is to become an early education teacher with a minor in psychology, she would like to add an advanced degree in counseling. Her goal is to make as many positive impacts in children’s lives and her surrounding community.
Lastly, Sophie wants to become the best teacher possible, so her kids always have a role model to look too and count on.
Sophie will be attending Southeastern Louisiana University in the Fall and will be majoring in Elementary Education and
Psychology.
We want to wish Sophie the very best and we know she will carry on Avery Natal’s dreams, while achieving her own.

Elizabeth Johnsen
As 1 of our 5 Scholarship Winners, we want to share a little bit about Elizabeth and her accomplishments at Northshore High School.
Elizabeth was awarded the Catholic Youth Leadership Award (Archdiocese of New Orleans), Principal’s Honor Roll and National Honor Society. Elizabeth has maintained over a 4.0 GPA throughout her entire high school career.
While maintaining amazing grades, Elizabeth also participated in Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Northshore High School Ambassador, National Honor Society, Culture Club President, Student Council, the Volleyball Team as well as Vacation Bible School Teen Helper at St. Luke’s.
Elizabeth will be attending Southeastern Louisiana University in the Fall and will be majoring in Marketing and or Communications.
We want to wish Elizabeth the very best and we know she will carry on Avery Natal’s dreams, while achieving her own.

Hayley Bauer
As 1 of our 5 Scholarship Winners, we want to share a little bit about Hayley and her accomplishments at Slidell High School.
Hayley has maintained great academic grades and is President of Choir, Secretary of Troupe #775, member of Student Advisory a Council, Senior Ambassadors, and Leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Hayley’s faith is strong, she has participated in St. Margaret Mary Church Retreat Team leader for four years, Archdiocese of New Orleans Teen CROSS member for four years, St. Margaret Mary Church Teen Choir leader for two years, Level One Training of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and has Taught Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for St. Margaret Mary Church’s Sunday Morning PSR for two years.
Hayley plans to attend SLU in the Fall and will be majoring in Music Education .

Desmond Beasley
As 1 of our 5 Scholarship Winners, we want to share a little bit about Desmond and his accomplishments at Salmen High School.
Desmond is in the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Superintendent’s Advisory Panel, and a Student Ambassador. Desmond has maintained over a 4.0 GPA throughout his entire high school career.
While maintaining amazing grades, Desmond also played football, soccer, and track and field. If that wasn’t enough, he was part of the School Beautification Committee, was a Special Olympics Buddy, and participated with the SYFA Football Kiddie Camp.
Desmond will be attending Louisiana Christian University in the Fall and will be majoring in Atmospheric Science.

Jenna Crawford
As 1 of our 5 Scholarship Winners, we want to share a little bit about Jenna and her accomplishments at Pearl River High School.
Jenna was awarded the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years, the Silver Level Rebel Award, and Honored by St. Tammany School Board for Student Lighthouse Team presentation.
While maintaining amazing grades, Jenna also participated in National Honor Society, Beta Club, Facta Non Verba, Student Council, My Alpha Theta, Student Lighthouse Team, Fellowship of Student Athletes, Rebel Buddies Club, Yearbook, the Varsity Softball Team and the Varsity Volleyball Team.
While you would think Jenna’s plate is full, here is a list of community services she has done. Service at Women’s Crisis Center, Tutoring elementary students, serving at the senior citizen center, Nursing home program center and collecting Toys for Tots.
Jenna will be attending LSU in the Fall and will be majoring in Health Physician Assistant Studies.
