Ariana Caruso
As one of our 5 Scholarship Winners we want to share a little bit about Ari and her accomplishments. Ari is a senior at Pope John Paul II Catholic High School. Ari has made her mark at PJP with being on Principal’s Honor Roll all five years, Student Council member for 3 years, on the Executive Board as Vice President, Student Ambassador, Retreat Team, Liturgy Team, Co-Captain of Jazz Cats, and not to mention member of National Honor Society. With all those accomplishments she even holds down a part-time job! Ari plans to attend University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the fall. Ari’s career goals are in social work or counselor.
We want to wish Ari the very best and we know she will carry on Avery Natal’s dreams all while keeping her faith close.

Gavin Dassau
As 1 of our 5 Scholarship Winners, we want to share a little bit about Gavin and his accomplishments. Gavin is a senior at Slidell High School. Gavin is an all around amazing student and athlete. He has kept straight A’s his whole 4 years while taking honors courses! Gavin is a member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Beta Club, Slidell High Leader of the FCA Program and also the Treasurer of the Next Generation Club. Gavin doesn’t only excel in the classroom. Gavin is a varsity member of the football, soccer and track team. He is also All Academic Team for Soccer & Football. Gavin also volunteers in his community in organizations like Miracle League on the Northshore. Gavin plans to attend Southeastern University in the fall. His career goals are to pursue nursing.

Brooke LeBreton
As one of our 5 Scholarship Winners we want to share a little bit about Brooke and her accomplishments. Brooke is a senior at Pope John Paul II Catholic High School. She is an amazing student, athlete and walks in her faith to the fullest. Some of Brooke’s accomplishments are PJP Student of the Year, Archdiocese of NOLA Student of the Year, Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence Nominee, Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Award, Tulane Book Award, City of Slidell Field MVP, and Jaguar Scholar Athlete. Along with these accomplishments Brooke is incredibly involved in her school and community. Brooke is a member of PJP Student Council Senior Class President, Ambassador, National Honor Society, Sanctity of Life Club Vice President, Catholic Athletes for Christ Secretary, St. Margaret Mary Retreat Team Leader, Feed Dat Hurricane Relief Ministry and PJP Retreat Team Core Team Member. Brooke is also a driven athlete in multiple sports at PJP. She is the Swim Team Captain, Volleyball, and Track and Field. Along with her academic achievements she also has multiple sport achievements. Division IV Swimming Academic All-State, 2 State Championships one for 200yd Freestyle Relay and one for 200yd Medley Relay. Brooke holds the school record for 400yd Freestyle, 200yd Freestyle and 200yd Medley Relay! She also holds the District Champion for the Triple Jump. Brooke plans to attend Louisiana State University in the fall. Brooke’s career goal is to be a pediatrician.

Meghan MartinAs one of our 5 Scholarship Winners we want to share a little bit about Meghan and her accomplishments. Meghan is a senior at Northshore High School. Meghan is a student with many academic and athletic accomplishments. She is National Honors Society Student of the month for September, National Merit Commended, and Platinum Panther. She is also in a number of clubs. Meghan is an Ambassador, Student Council Treasurer, Beta Club and in the National Honors Society. While she has set the bar high academically she does not stop there. Meghan is an excellent athlete. She is Captain of Track and Field team and Cross Country. Meghan has been the Fastest Girls Cross Country Time all 4 years! Along with clubs, sports and keeping a high GPA she managed an internship at Slidell Memorial Hospital. Meghan plans to attend Louisiana State University in the fall. Her career goal is to become a surgeon.

As one of our 5 Scholarship Winners we want to share a little bit about Lauren and her accomplishments. Lauren is a senior at Pope John Paul II Catholic High School. Lauren has so much to be proud of in and outside the classroom. Lauren has maintained Principals Honor Roll/Honor Roll while attending PJP. She is a member of the National Junior Honor Society as well as the National Honor Society. Lauren is an Ambassador along with being on the Retreat Team, Pope John Paul II Media Club, History Club and Vice President of HOSA Club. Lauren has accomplished State Titles as well. Lauren is a member of the Powerlifting Team who has placed 2nd and 3rd at State. Along with powerlifting, Lauren is a member of the Volleyball Team who are State Runner-Ups. Such wonderful accomplishments!!! Lauren is also a member of the Southern Elite & LAVB travel volleyball organizations. Even though she has her plate full, Lauren internships at Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital and holds down a part-time job. Lauren plans to attend Louisiana State University in the fall. Lauren’s career goal is to major in Biology or Psychology.
